Setting up Git, Clone Repo and edit README

Go to the sandbox here

Open Sandbox and type in your new gem name
bundle gem 'name_of_gem'

Answer questions according to the settings for your app

CD into your new app’s directory

Go to Github and create a new repository
-
Commit and push to repo from sandbox
git add .
git commit -m "first commit"
git remote add origin <github.url>
git push -u origin master

Refresh browser and delete folders leftover from sandbox learn.co

Copy Repo at (in this case) git@github.com:jessekathryn/shape_cli.git or SSH and return to Sandbox

Clone Repo
git clone git@github.com:jessekathryn/shape_cli.git
- CD into folder and then make a change to the README, such as a description, and then commit change by first staging it
git add .
- Now commit with a message tag
git commit -m "Readme update"
- Push your code to your repo and you’re ready to continue making changes
